To cater for each child's developmental needs, wellbeing and physical growth and for our early childhood team to acquire an understanding of children's development through careful study and purposeful interaction
That is CHILD CENTRED – where each child is encouraged and empowered to contribute ideas and evaluations. To focus on the learning styles of each child and work together with children in all knowledge areas to jointly construct understandings to gradually hand over responsibility for learning tasks as the child gains understanding and confidence
That is CONSISTENT - where there is companionship, support, trust and a commitment to building connections and maintaining reciprocal and respectful relationships. Promoting partnerships of family and community-oriented learning and values continued participation of parents
That is a FOUNDATION - where there is time for each child and adult to progress, appreciate, relax and grow. For future education and those values that promote cooperative human endeavor to be encouraged, nurtured and empowered
