Welcome Maya, our newest educator joins the Townsville team
Maya Ngata brings ten years of experience and a deep love of nature pedagogy to our Townsville Toddlers room.
We're delighted to welcome Maya Ngata to our Townsville centre, joining the Toddlers room as Lead Educator. Maya comes to us with ten years' experience across long day care and nature-based kindy programs in North Queensland.
If you happen to find yourself at pickup wondering why there are suddenly more leaves, sticks and seed pods in the room, that's Maya. Her quiet superpower is helping toddlers slow down enough to actually look at things.
She'll be working closely with Centre Director Helen Carter on a refreshed outdoor program for the second half of the year. Families are welcome to say hi at drop-off this week.
